Abstract

AbstractVideo displays based on active‐matrix organic light‐emitting diodes (OLEDs) have been designed and fabricated. The pixel switches are implemented using low‐temperature metal‐induced unilaterally crystallized polycrystalline silicon thin‐film transistors (TFTs). Issues relating to transistor optimization and OLED/TFT integration are addressed. Display defects are analyzed and remedies suggested.
