Abstract

Abstract Multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWNTs) coated with CeO2 and SnO2 nanoparticles were successfully prepared by microwave-polyol process. The samples are characterized by XRD, TEM, HRTEM, and UV–vis analysis. SnO2 and CeO2 nanoparticles are homogeneously distributed on the wall of the MWNTs.
