Abstract

Abstract Li+ ion-conducting glasses were prepared in the system Li2O–TiO2–P2O5 by rapid quenching. These glasses had high ionic conductivities of 10−2–10−5 S m−1 at 400 K. The conductivities of these glasses increased and the activation energy for conduction decreased with an increase in the Li2O content of the glasses. At a given Li2O content, the conductivities at 400 K increased with substituting TiO2 for P2O5.
