Abstract
Abstract A Pt(sputtered film)/SnO2(disc) diode was found to respond to small amounts of CO in air at lower temperatures below 100 °C, while no response was observed for CH4 and C3H8. The CO sensitivity of the diode gave a maximum at 90 °C, which was about three times as high as the sensitivity to H2. The 50% response time of the sensor to 1000 ppm CO was about 1 min.
