Abstract
Abstract Multinuclear MAS NMR has been used to study, for the first time, a member of a new family of molecular sieves, the silicoaluminophosphates, SAPO-5. The silicon-29 NMR spectra are consistent with tetrahedral (framework) silicon and provide information concerning the method of substitution of the silicon atoms into the aluminophosphate lattice.
