Abstract
Abstract TiO2/SiO2 (70–90 wt%TiO2) prepared by deposition of TiO2 on to SiO2 gel are significantly effective catalyst supports for Pt in NO–CO reaction. The presence of SiO2 distinctly changes the structures and properties of TiO2 and definitely increases the thermal stability of the dispersed anatase TiO2, on which Pt is selectively deposited and gives the high catalytic activity.
