Abstract
The small-angle critical scattering of 1.25-Å-wavelength neutrons in Fe, Ni, and Co has been studied. The temperature shift of the maximum scattered intensity in Fe has been determined. The shape of the instantaneous spin correlation function has been deduced from angular distribution measurements of scattered neutrons in Fe and Co. The temperature dependences of the correlation range and magnetic susceptibility for Fe and Co are presented.
