Abstract
An acid saw and an acid polisher for cutting and polishing copper crystals are described. Evidence is presented that the cutting and polishing do not introduce dislocations into the crystals. Using these techniques, copper crystals with a dislocation density of 5×103/cm2 have been prepared.
