Abstract

Regulating [H+] by a mixture of hydrochloric acid and acetic acid during the hydrolysis of Ta5+ ions can produce single crystalline microcubes TaO2.18Cl0.64 with superstructures, which exhibit remarkably enhanced photocatalytic activities for hydrogen production.
