/ Surf. Sci. by Alvarez J. (2000)- The XRD results were obtained on a Scintag PAD V diffractometer at the University of New Mexico. The glass slides containing the crystals were placed directly on the sample stage of the instrument without any specimen preparation. The TEM image was obtained on a JEOL 2010 high-resolution transmission electron microscope funded by NSF. The TEM samples were prepared by scraping off the crystals and placed them on a TEM specimen grid.
