Concentration-dependent UV measurements in the range from 10-3to 10-6mol/L of compound1ain hexane showed spectra with identical shapes. This suggests that also at 10-6mol/L all molecules are in an aggregated state. The corresponding CD spectra show Cotton effects of similar size, suggesting that also at 10-6mol/L the aggregates are long. See ref 3a for details.
