Abstract
AbstractThe MÖSSBAUER parameters (isomer shift δ and quadrupole splitting ΔEQ) were determined for [Fe(II)py2phen(NCS)2] at 298° and 77°K, their values being compared with those for [Fe(II)phen2(NCS)2]. The existence of a spin equilibrium 5T2 — 1A1 already put in evidence by the magnetic measurements for the mixed‐ligand complex [Fe(II)py2phen(NCS)2] has been ckecked up using the γ‐resonance spectroscopy.
