Abstract

AbstractInfluence of the curvature dependence of surface tension on nucleation rate and cluster distribution function is studied. When the curvature dependence of the interfacial energy of a cluster, σ, is taken into account the number of monomers decreases, in contrast to the case when σ = const. Decrease of monomers caused the decrease of nucleation rate.
