Abstract

Liquid Crystals, 77[1]. – Novel Macroheterocyclic Palladium ComplexesThe double cyclopalladation of the bisimine 1 affords spacious tetrapalladium complexes 2a – c which represent new thermotropic metallomesogens, the heaviest low‐molecular liquid crystals (mol. mass ≈︁ 3500 – 4000) studied so far.
